What is Domain Rating?
Domain Rating (DR) is an Ahrefs metric that scores the strength of a website's backlink profile on a logarithmic scale from 0 to 100. The more unique websites link to a domain with followed links, and the stronger those websites are, the higher its DR. Because the scale is logarithmic, going from DR 20 to 30 is far easier than going from DR 70 to 80.
DR is relative to every other site in the Ahrefs index, so there's no universal good score: compare yours with similar sites in your niche. DR is not a Google ranking factor, but Ahrefs reports that it correlates with rankings, which is why it's widely used to judge link sources.

What's the difference between per-link backlinks and a DR package?
Per-link backlinks are individual editorial placements you choose by DR tier, pointed at a page you want to rank. A DR package is a complete link mix plus submission to 30 to 100+ launch directories, planned to bring your whole domain to a target Domain Rating, from DR 30+ up to DR 60+, within 60 days, or you get a full refund.
Is this a link marketplace?
No. You don't pick from a public list of sites that sell links to anyone. We look for relevant sites in your niche, including sites that link to your competitors or rank for your keywords, and pitch each editor directly.
How do I check my Domain Rating?

What is a good Domain Rating?
There's no absolute threshold. Ahrefs' rule of thumb is that a DR is good when it's higher than or comparable to similar sites in your niche, so check a few competitors here and compare. A site with no followed backlinks sits at DR 0, and because the scale is logarithmic, each point gets harder to earn as your DR rises.
What's the difference between Domain Rating and Domain Authority?
Domain Rating (DR) comes from Ahrefs and Domain Authority (DA) comes from Moz. Both score a website's link strength on a 100-point scale, but each uses its own link index and formula, so the same site usually gets different numbers. Neither is a Google ranking factor. Our DR 60+ package targets both metrics.
Will backlinks improve my Google rankings?
